Before joining Akamai, Parimal started and ran an e-commerce venture in New York City, followed by a stint in venture capital. He holds a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University, New York.

Dr. Tom Leighton co-founded Akamai Technologies in 1998 and served as Akamai’s Chief Scientist until he became CEO in 2013. Under Dr. Leighton’s leadership, Akamai has evolved from its origins as a Content Delivery Network (CDN) into one of the most essential and trusted cloud delivery and cybersecurity platforms, upon which many of the world’s best brands and enterprises build and secure their digital experiences. Dr. Leighton holds more than 50 patents involving content delivery, Internet protocols, algorithms for networks, cryptography and digital rights management.Dr. Leighton has served on numerous government, industry and academic advisory panels. Dr. Leighton graduated summa cum laude from Princeton University in 1978 with a B.S.E. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. He received his Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from MIT in 1981.

He also managed Alien Labs Open Threat Exchange, the world’s first crowd-sourced threat intelligence community. Sameer Mehta is a seasoned product and technology leader with over 20 years of experience. He has spent more than a decade at Jio, where he was instrumental in launching and developing innovative SaaS, PaaS, and Managed Services products. Before Jio, Sameer held key technology roles in the BFSI and Payment sectors, further enhancing his diverse expertise. Recognized as a 'Technology Leader' by the Indian Leadership Academy, Sameer excels in product design, strategy, and technology implementation. Based in the IDC Bangalore office, Rajiv Ranjan works as an associate research director with the Asia/Pacific team and leads the Future of Digital Infrastructure Research for India. Rajiv has a specific focus on cloud and artificial intelligence (AI) research program management. He manages the advisory assignments for IT vendors in the areas of cloud infrastructure strategy, go-to-market strategy, strategic marketing, and end-user insights across technologies and industry verticals.
Vijay Kolli is Regional Vice President, Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) at Akamai Technologies. In this role, Vijay is responsible for leading the enterprise business, and providing thought leadership across Asia Pacific and Japan. Vijay has been with Akamai for over eleven years. Prior to this role, he built products focused on mobile technologies, responsible for product management, strategy and operations at Akamai. He has also worked at startups and in established companies, including 3COM and Motorola in the US for carrier ecosystem the last 20 years.
